We set up pit 2 right on RM99.75 up in the mountains near the Jamau outpost. We arrived the night before to ensure the pit would be ready by morning. The night was cold (about 30 degrees). The coyotes were howling, the donkey hee hawing, and the sky was full of stars. All went well at our pit thanks to Don & Scott from Atlanta who were experienced KTM riders. They even got down and dirty to change an inner tube for one of our racers. After the Pit closed at 10pm we left our peaceful pit in order to help out pit 12 RM630. We finally arrived at pit 12 by 1am to find the biggest party in Mexico. The place was packed with spectators blasting music, drinking beer, and watching the race. Unfortunately we could not find our Mag7 brothers. (If we only had a hand held radio). We ended up finding a place to set up camp away from the madness up on a little hill over looking the race course. To our surprise we found our Mag7 brothers camped in front of us when we woke up in the morning. We just didn't walk up course far enough. All in all we were home across the border by 6:30 on Sat. Another great time in Baja!!  Special Thanks to Don and Scott from Atlanta. You guys were a great help.

Awesome time and learned a TON.   Thanks for having us out.   I can see us coming back again for sure.

Here are a couple quick videos I posted on Youtube.

Race leader coming through.  I think Destry Abbott was on the bike at this point.

Trophy truck coming through.

Team KTM/Austrailia's pit.   (Some of the video is goofed.. but it clears up).  Too bad they broke down.

Here is my trip report post from our normal web hangout here in GA.  Yeah.. the quad stuff was a bit dorky.. but we were excited to be there and just HAD to get on the course somehow. haha.  It also has some of Don's video and report too.
